The following is an alternate history of list of the world of the Youjo Senki series, starting from the past and heading toward the present story line.
It's a kind of fanfiction, I just wanted to imagine what if...
11th July 1875, Birth of Petr Petrovich Garanin, who will become Federation's head military engineer in the future.
23rd November 1893, Garanin enrolls Imperial Moskva University, where meets communist students and begins to take an interest in this ideology.
Around 1897 he is expelled from the University for being a communist despite his perfect marks, preventing Garanin from getting a Master degree in physics and engineering.
In 1900 Garanin meets famous inventor Nikolai Taslovsky, who had done researches about electricity. Young specialist impresses the inventor and he agrees to work with him.
1903-1905, due to the extreme poverty among working class in Russy Empire anti-czarist demonstrations begin. Communist ideas become more and more popular.
22nd January 1905, "Bloody Sunday". Unarmed demonstrators shot by Russy Empire soldiers in Petrograd, which caused public outrage and a series of massive strikes that spread quickly to the industrial centres of the Russy Empire. Government responded by sending troops to crush the revolt.
January – March 1905, The Great Socialist Revolution in Russy Empire. Czar Nikolai and his ministers are arrested and executed, Bolshevik revolutionaries sieze power.
19th March 1905, Sovnarkom (Council of People's Commissars) is created instead of the old government. Vladimir Lenin becomes the head of Sovnarkom.
Summer 1905, Several high-ranking officers including major general Nikolai Krasnitsky, admiral Aleksandr Kolchak and general Lavr Kornilenko refuse to obey the Sovnarkom, creating anti-communist White movement. Russy Civil War begins.
Vast majority of former Russy Empire's Mage units join the White movement.
22nd June 1905, Kornilenko's troops start their March on Petrograd in order to arrest members of new communist government, preventing the establishment of socialist republic.
End of June 1905, Kornilenko's advance stopped near Petrograd by troops that remained loyal to Sovnarkom. White movement's Mage units begin to bombard the city
1st of July 1905, Red Army is officially created, uniting all pro-communist soldiers and officers.
Cheka secret police created
July 1905, Anti-communist cossack uprising begins in regions near river Don.
Around July 1905 Garanin convinces Taslovsky to help the Reds.
5th of July 1905, Kolchak's troops capture Omsk. White movement begins its advance in Sildberia
September 1905, Red Army defence lines near Petrograd are broken due to White movement's magic superiority, only the furious resistance of the communists prevents the fall of the city.
In the beginning of 1906 Garanin and Taslovsky demonstrate their experimental electric weapons to Red Army commanders and Sovnarkom members getting their approval. Special laboratory is provided to them by Sovnarkom.

Several weeks later secret production of the electric rifles begins in Tula and Izhevsk. Due to complicated construction they are given only to the most experienced Red Army troopers.
23rd February 1906, Red Army launches a massive counterattack near Petrograd. Kornilenko's mages trying to attack Bolshevik forces are incinerated by prototype electric rifles and his forces fall back.
25th February 1906, Kolchak's forces fail to capture Chelyabinsk.
In the end of the February Krasnitsky's forces sieze the Rostov-na-Donu and begin their assault against communists in the East Ukraine.
At the same time Petrograd counterattack finishes with defeat of Kornilenko's forces and his death. Red Army's first major victory.
Around March 1906 the communist capital is moved from Petrograd to Moskva.
After Kornilenko's defeat Francois Republic, Commonwealth and the Unified States begin their intervention.
Commonwealth forces land at the Arkhangelsk, capturing the city, US forces land at Vladivostok, supporting Kolchak, and Francois forces capture Odessa.
Commonwealth intelligence services started to receive information about weapon prototypes uzed by the Red Army.
From March 1906 to January 1907 active fighting between communist forces and White movement supported by major western countries goes on.
White movement general Denikin begins the assault on Moskva but Red commander Budyony's forces stand in his way. After bloody battles Denikin's advance is halted near Oryol.
Red commander Chapaev leads an offensive against Kolchak's forces in Sildberia, capturing Omsk, Surgut and several other important cities. Chapaev is killed in the end of the offensive, but large part of the Sildberia is now Red.
In the Ukraine Krasnitsky's cossacks capture Uzovka and move to Lugansk, supported by Wrangel's forces from the Crimea. Soon enough White movement takes control of the Eastern Ukraine.
February - March 1907, White forces in the Ukraine are stopped near Kiev by elite Red Army troops. Anti-communist forces stop their offensive, suffering grievous casualtes.
1st of May 1907, Commonwealth military intelligence executes an active phase of Operation Brain Drain. Commonwealth saboteurs attack Garanin and Taslovsky's laboratory in Petrograd, killing Taslovsky and stealing newest electric weapon prototypes. Cheka immediately begins a counter-operation to retrieve them.File:71957 original.jpg

5th of May 1907, Red Army launches an offensive against White movement in Ukraine
20th of May 1907, fall of Lugansk.
23rd May - 3rd of June 1907 - Battle for Odessa. Red Army forces reach the city and after several days of fighting recapture it from the Francois forces, driving them away from the Russy land.
June - September 1907, final stage of the communist offensive. Krasnitsky' s forces are encircled near Uzovka, Wrangel's forces retreat to Crimea.
Winter 1907-1908, last Commonwealth saboteurs are arrested by Cheka, all stolen prototypes are successfully retrieved, Operation Brain Drain fails.
At the same time an antiwar protest movement starts in western countries that support the White movement.
At the same time Garanin moves his laboratory from Petrograd to Moskva.
Beginning of the February 1908, Krasnitsky's troops encircled near Uzovka surrender. Major general Krasnitsky manages to escape the encirclement with a squadron of battle mages, flying to western Russy regions, controlled by anti-communist forces.
Spring 1908, foreign countries begin to withdraw their troops from Russy lands due to protest movement.
Spring - Autumn 1908, Red Army's Second Sildberian offensive. Sildberia and Russy Far East are controlled by the communists as a result of this operation. Kolchak is imprisioned and then drowned in river Lena.
18th of August 1908, Empire's troops suddenly cross the Russy western border, fighting Red Army and supporting White forces. Communist-controlled Minsk is heavily bombarded by Imperial mages. None of communist troops deployed in western regions were armed with experimental anti-mage weapons, so offensive was overwhelming and the Empire quickly occupies and annexes Russy western lands from Warsaw to Grodno, calling these an Ostland region. White forces from this region become a part of the Imperial Armed Forces. Communist government decides that Red Army is still too weak to fight such enemy as The Empire in direct combat, so the Reds don't make any attempts to recapture their western lands during the Civil war.
By winter 1908, the Russy anti-communist movement is mostly crushed by Red Army, except Wrangel's troops in Crimea which will remain White before Red Army's Crimean Operation in 1910.
22nd of December 1908, Russy Federation is created. Russy Civil war is officially over, but last pockets of anti-communist resistance will be destroyed only in 1910.

4th of March 1910, Birth of Zinaida ("Zina") Larionova
12nd of March 1910, Birth of Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakova in Sevastopol, Crimea.
Just a few months later Red Army begins the Crimean Operation, recapturing the peninsula. Visha's family emigrates to Empire.
4th of June 1910, Birth of Leonid ("Lenya") Sanaev
21st of January 1911, Vladimir Lenin dies. Petrograd is renamed to Leningrad in his honor.
In 1912, Russy anti-mage campaigh begins. Mages are criticized as the models of royalists. Magic is now banned in Russy Federation, and Centkom (Central comittee of international communist movement) remains the only organization that is allowed to train and use battle mages because Centkom mages proved themselves loyal to communist ideas. Several years later Federation even begins to produce small numbers of Operation Orbs for Centkom, but they are much worse than foreigh ones.
7th of March 1912, Birth of Evgenia ("Zhenya") Odintsova
10th of June 1912, Birth of Vasily ("Vasya") Saburov
3rd of April 1914, Josef Dzhugashvili comes to power in Russy Federation, becoming the General Secretary.
18th July 1914, Tanya Degurechaff's birth.
24th September 1914, Tanya is adopted by an orphanage after being abandoned by her biological mother.
About 3 months after her birth, Tanya starts to form coherent thoughts when spoon fed by her caretaker. Her first memory as Tanya Degurechaff.
In 1915 Cheka is reformed into OGPU. Nikolai Lezhov becomes the head of OGPU.
At the same year Russy government begins industrialization and collectivization, starting to rebuild the country after destructive Civil War. Large factories and power plants are built in cities and kolkhozes (collective farms) are created in villages.
Petr Garanin finishes work on Taslovsky's electric coils project which Taslovsky couldn't finish himself because of his death in 1907. Originally designed to transmit electricity without wires, they could also become a deadly weapon, destroying enemy with lightning bolts.
In 1916 mass production of BT light tanks begins in Federation.
October 1917, Tanya begins learning to read and write.
August 1919, she gets into a fight about food at the orphanage and achieves a 'peaceful' resolution.
September 1921, Marshal Mikhail Tukhachevsky becomes people's commissar of defense.
October 1921, secret NII Oboroni (rus. Research Institute of Defense) is created in Russy Federation to develop new weapons that can fully replace magic. Petr Garanin becomes head of NII Oboroni.
October 1921, examined by military officer as a child with high magical aptitude.
November 1921, a notice of future conscription is sent to Tanya.
Tanya's interview to enroll to Military Academy, she answers "I have no other path." when questioned about her reason to volunteer.
GIRD (Gruppa Izuchenia reaktivnogo dvizheniya, rus. Group to study the jet movement) is created in Federation.
First Katyusha rocket trucks are built in Federation.
Norden Incident, The war begins[]
Unified Year 1923[]
June, Tanya is commissioned in emergency of Legadonia Entente Alliance's border violation as Second Lieutenant. First mission as Artillery Observer.
Norden Incident occurrs. Tanya first confronts with Anson Sue and his subordinates.
July-December, Great Purge begins in Russy Federation. Lots of spies, criminals and corrupt officials are arrested and sent to Sildberia by OGPU.
However, soon enough it is found out that lots of innocents were actually imprisioned by Lezhov. He is arrested and executed, OGPU is reformed into NKVD. Loria becomes the head of NKVD.
Tanya is honored with Silver Wings Assault Medal, followed by ceremony for the medal and second naming as "White Silver".
General Staff decides to mobilize the entire continental army, launching a major offensive against Legadonia.
September, first Russy jet engines are created by GIRD scientists.
Tanya's change of assignment to the Tactical Training Department, and works in Elinium Lab.
Being X interfere directly for the first time with blessing Elinium Type 95.
Francois Republic declares war on the Empire, opening the 2nd front in Low Lands industry region.
Tanya's deployment to the western front as reinforcement and her first meeting with Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakova.
Elimination of Named Killers by Tanya with diffusive magical explosion.
Republican confirms the existence of "The Devil of Rhine".
T-34 medium tank and T-35 heavy tank are designed in NII Oboroni.
Engineer Garanin works on T-35 project personally, seriously improving it and making tank's engine system extremely reliable.
First handheld reactive cannons (rocket launchers) are created by NII Oboroni.

Lenya, Zina, Zhenya, Musa and Vasya join Osoaviakhim military training courses
Tanya receives notice of her enrollment to War College and leaves Rhine. On the same day Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov is recommended for officer course in Military Academy. Tanya is promoted to First Lieutenant.
Tanya attends Charloburg War College.
August - October, Far East border clashes between Akitsushima Dominion and Russy Federation. Technologically advanced Red Army beats Akitsusima forces, but abcence of battle mages causes problems during the campaigh.
NII Oboroni starts working on special battle gear that will be able to make ordinary humans be able to confront mages in direct combat.
Zettour informs Tanya of her new post as Organizing Officer of the V601 training unit. Tanya is promoted to Captain.
Tanya reunits with Visha, who becomes her new adjutant.
Selection process of candidates through optical illusion test.
Tanya gathers the remaining candidates for spartan retraining in Alps.
Elinium Type 97 is distributed to V601.
Completing their retraining and receiving notice for deployment to Southeastern Theater from Rerugen. Tanya is promoted to Major to lead newly formed Imperial 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion.
24th September, Tanya's birthday on paper. Principality of Dacia declares war on Empire, opening the 3rd front in Imperial Dacia.
25th September, the world's first Night Air Urban Raid in capital of Dacia.
November, Dacia capitulates after 6 weeks of one-sided war.
Unified Year 1924, November[]
5th November, order for 203rd Mage Battalion's deployment to Norden is issued.
6th November, 203rd defends Kraggana Supply Depot and destroys foreign volunteer Command Post.
7th November, Legadonia and foreign forces withdraw from Norden.
16th November, in the conference of Northern Front, Rudersdorf drafts an airborne and amphibious operation plan, and reaches a consensus of a winter offensive with Northern Front. Later, Tanya has a meeting with him, and discusses about that invasion plan.
29th November, Tanya attends a meeting with North Sea Fleet officers and receives an order to prepare for a paratroop operation.
Unified Year 1924, December[]
1st December, Tanya and 203rd attack Osfjord and succeed through the cooperation with Northern Sea Fleet, Air Force, and High Seas Fleet.
4th December, Commonwealth receives telegram from Legadonia for help establishing government in exile. Mary Sue meets Mr. John in a church.
10th December, Anson's family evacuate from Legadonia.
11th December, Tanya is called from vacation for emergency mission from Rudersdorf. The 203rd confronts Legadonian mages in the coast of Norden. Anson Sue loses his life in this battle in the hands of Tanya.
Later, they inspect the Commonwealth ship Lytol and damage the S-class submarine Syrtis by the warning shots.
25th December, first prototypes of special assault costumes are created in NII Oboroni. Due to lack of space inside the costume that doesn't allow to use an adult pilot, NII Oboroni decides to appoint specially trained
BshM-4 assault gear (Bronekostum shturmovoi, rus. Armored Assault Gear)invented in Federation NII Oboroni.
young pioneers as armored costume pilots.
Five experimental prototypes of assault gear are built, carrying high-caliber machine guns, rocket launchers and compact jet engines desighed by GIRD.
Western Front (January to June, Unified Year 1925)[]
15th January, Lenya, Zina, Zhenya, Musa and Vasya are chosen for NII Oboroni assault gear project after passing a special exam and finishing multiple exercises.
Young pioners officially become the pilots and begin their special education. Team Molot is created.

18th January, the 203rd assists the Imperial Northern Sea Fleet in the anti-mage combat exercise.
23rd February, Team Molot's first training with experimental assault gear.
24th February, the Imperial Military Court declares the case that 203rd damaged the Commonwealth submarine inadmissible.
March, order for 203rd Mage Battalion's deployment to Western Front is issued.
5th April, 203rd receives the training mission. Glanz and other mages are training in 203rd. Glanz stays in 203rd after training completes.
28th April, in the Joint Meeting between the Service Corps and Operations, Rudersdorf proposes General Staff his astonishing operation plan.
4th May, Arene Incident occurrs.
10th May, phase one "Fog and Sun" of Operation Revolving Door is executed.
25th May, phase two "Shock and Awe" of Operation Revolving Door is executed.
Later, Commonwealth asks the Empire for "restitutio in integrum", and is rejected by the Imperial General Staff.
27th May, phase four "Operation 177" of Operation Revolving Door is executed.
18th June, the Imperial Army marches toward the Republic's capital.
19th June, Operation an Ark is executed.
20th June, Imperial General Staff declares the cease-fire to Imperial Army.
Southern Continent Campaign (August, 1925 to March, 1926)[]
22nd August, Mary Sue joined the US volunteer force.
29th August, in the Joint Meeting between the Service Corps and Operations, General Staff decides to send an expeditionary corps to Southern Continent.
4th September, order for 203rd Mage Battalion's deployment to Southern Continental Expeditionary Corps is issued.
22nd September, Maj. General de Lugo reorganizes the Republican colonial army and sorties to defend the colonies.
Midnight of 12th October, the Imperial Southern Continent Expeditionary Corps is encircled by the Republican colonial army.
Morning of 13th October, the Imperial Southern Continent Expeditionary Corps breaks out of enemy encirclement.
1st November, Duke Marlborough, the new prime minister of Commonwealth, delivers a speech.
