Arene-Roygen Border Skirmish was a clash between mage patrols on the Empire-Francois Republic border in the Arene-Roygen region. It was one of several isolated border skirmishes that occurred between Imperial and Republican units in the lead up to the Great War.

Formerly Francois Republic territory, the Arene-Roygen region remained the subject of tension after its Imperial annexation.
On the morning of December 5, reports of incursions from both sides prompted respective local command posts to authorize patrols to investigate their legitimacy.
